Jessica Shoop is a corporate lawyer who focuses her practice on business, nonprofit, and healthcare law. Prior to joining Johnston Allison Hord, Jessica clerked at the North Carolina Business Court in Greensboro, NC for the Honorable J. Julianna Theall Earp, J. James L. Gale, and C.J. Louise A. Bledsoe. As a clerk, she assisted in drafting and editing opinions, conducted legal research, worked closely with the Court on the law’s application to pending motions, and communicated with counsel on behalf of the Court. While earning her Juris Doctorate at the Campbell University School of Law, Jessica earned the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship and served as a Graduation Marshal in 2018 and 2019 and as Executive Editor of the Campbell Law Review.
