Iyanu Lipede is a corporate lawyer who assists for profit businesses and nonprofit entities in matters related to business transactions, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to joining Johnston Allison Hord, Iyanu served as an Office of Legal Affairs Intern at Liberty University and as a Judicial Intern at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. During her internships, Iyanu gained experience conducting legal research, reviewing contracts, investigating intellectual property issues, supporting general counsel in labor and employment issues, and drafting judicial order decisions and opinions. While earning her Juris Doctorate at Liberty University, Iyanu served as the Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and as Student Development Editor of the Law Review.
