Bob Burchette Elected to Carolinas AGC Hall of Fame

Johnston Allison Hord is pleased to announce Bob Burchette has been elected to the Carolinas AGC Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition honors professionals who have made significant contributions to the growth and success of the construction industry in North Carolina and South Carolina. Carolinas AGC will officially induct Bob into the Hall of Fame during its annual Summer Summit in Asheville, North Carolina on July 29th.

Bob is the senior member of our firm’s litigation construction practice group. He represents closely-held corporations, construction companies —including general contractors and sub-contractors — as well as design professionals in many states and jurisdictions. His projects span the gamut from highways, bridges, and high-rise buildings to homes and condominiums.

Bob is at home in the courtroom or in arbitration. He has been an American Arbitration Association arbitrator for over 35 years and a mediator for over 30 years.

He is widely published and has been a lecturer for numerous American Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Association sessions. He is the former editor of the North Carolina Bar Association publication, “The Change Order.”

He is an acknowledged leader in the North Carolina Bar. For more than a decade, Bob has been the chair or co-chair of the North Carolina Bar Association Joint Committee with the Carolinas AGC, and he has participated in numerous other Bar and Carolinas AGC committees as well.

Other award bodies and programs have recognized Bob’s leadership and expertise, including Chambers, Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite, and Super Lawyers.

Bob’s contributions to the industry and the Carolinas AGC have been invaluable and have helped advance the industry and the practice of law. His induction into the Hall of Fame is a well-deserved honor and Johnston Allison Hord congratulates him on this significant achievement.
