The Impending Storm: Johnston Allison Hord Can Assist with Increased Bankruptcy Activity

The signs are everywhere and the facts cannot be disputed.  Nearly every business has been affected by the global pandemic with no clear understanding of when the impact will end, or how deep the harm has run.  Assistance for businesses has been provided in the forbearance of payments and PPP funds, but those lifelines are soon to expire.  Unfortunately for many businesses, the pandemic will end for them in a bankruptcy court, or simply closing their doors. Our firm is here to help with the increase in bankruptcy activity.

Johnston Allison Hord’s Creditors’ Rights group is positioned to assist its clients with all needed guidance and expertise to achieve maximum recovery in the unfortunate circumstance you are owed money by a struggling business.  We can represent our clients in the state, federal, and bankruptcy courts of both North and South Carolina.  In addition, Johnston Allison Hord is a member of Meritas, a global alliance of sophisticated law firms which extends our reach to every state in the USA, and nearly every corner of the globe.

Our attorneys have extensive experience representing lenders and other creditors in their business disputes, from collection matters to liens and foreclosures, and all the way into bankruptcy litigation if needed.  We are also proud to announce the addition of Charlie Middlebrooks to our creditors’ rights group.  Charlie joins us after completing his clerkship for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina, which provides our group with valuable insight and experience dealing with financially distressed entities.

If you are in need of help in regards to bankruptcy, Kenny Lautenschlager, and Charlie Middlebrooks are ready to help and guide you to resolve any payment issues in the most efficient and advantageous manner.
