Johnston Allison Hord client Sisters of Mercy recently broke ground on a significant solar array project at the organization’s Belmont, North Carolina campus, during a ceremony held on January 5, 2026. Construction is scheduled to begin on January 12, 2026.
The project supports the international Catholic organization’s Fourth Year Action Plan and advances its long-standing commitment to climate sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Johnston Allison Hord was proud to have partners Kenny Lautenschlager and Steve Gennett play an integral part of the project team, representing Sisters of Mercy in negotiating final agreements for the installation of the solar array.
