The 44th Annual Estate Planners Day was hosted in-person and virtually on Thursday, May 19, 2022, by Queens University of Charlotte. Estate Planners Day offers sessions led by nationally recognized speakers, networking opportunities, and continuing education credits for professionals within the trusts and estates industry. Professionals who attended the event include attorneys, asset managers, accountants, financial advisors, financial planning practitioners, insurance professionals, philanthropy professionals, and trust officers. Topics covered during the event include fields of estate, tax, financial planning, charitable planning, and more.
JAH was honored to have partner Kimberly Kirk speak at the event and give the North Carolina update. Kim’s update was presented to an audience of industry professionals regarding fiduciary law developments in North Carolina over the last year. Kim’s discussion focused on case law updates and legislative changes affecting estate planners and their clients. In addition to Kim’s contributions, JAH partner Kyle Agee supported the event serving as the Vice Chair on the Steering Committee.
Johnston Allison Hord is proud to take part in such a great event and we look forward to seeing the event continue for years to come. If you are in need of guidance or have any questions pertaining to estate planning or fiduciary law, you can contact a member of our Trusts & Estates team here.
