Last week, Johnston Allison Hord attorneys and staff traveled to Crisis Assistance Ministry for our 2022 community service project, assisting in sorting donated items, sizing and hanging clothes, and stocking the Free Store, providing free essentials to families in our community.
About Crisis Assistance Ministry
Crisis Assistance Ministry has been serving Charlotte, North Carolina since 1975 as a place for community members facing poverty to receive vital assistance in preventing homelessness and achieving economic mobility. The organization helps meet the basic needs of the community by offering emergency financial assistance, free clothing, free household items, and free furniture to families in need. In addition to offering emergency assistance, the ministry’s trained caseworkers introduce pathways to economic opportunity and guiding families to financial security. Crisis Assistance Ministry continues to make a major impact in the Charlotte community in 2022 and will make an impact for years to come.
