Johnston Allison Hord Elects 2 New Partners 2024

Johnston Allison Hord is excited to announce that the firm has elected Katie Barr and Lauren Martin as new partners beginning January 1, 2024. You can learn more about our new partners below.

    Katie Barr

Katie joined the firm in 2020. Her experience working within commercial real estate spans over a decade, representing both government entities and commercial real estate companies. Katie has brought this experience to JAH and has quickly become an integral member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Her work has also earned her recognition in several legal publications including Best Lawyers in America®, and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite®.

    Lauren Martin

Lauren joined the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group in 2017. She has a hybrid practice in that she assists individuals with estate planning and estate administration, but also handles fiduciary litigation matters. Before joining the firm, Lauren served as a judicial law clerk for a Justice on the Supreme Court of North Carolina and a Judge on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.  Lauren’s technical ability as a lawyer along with her true compassion and understanding for her clients have made her an important member of the JAH family. Her work has also garnered her recognition in several legal publications including Best Lawyers in America®, Super Lawyers®, and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite®.

We are proud to have Katie and Lauren as partners and we look forward to their contributions in 2024 and beyond.
