David Rugani Takes Reins as Corporate Practice Group Chair

Johnston Allison Hord is excited to announce David Rugani was recently selected to chair the firm’s Corporate & Nonprofit Practice Group effective January 1, 2024.

David joined the firm in 2014 and was named partner in 2019. During his nine years with the firm, he has developed a strong corporate practice and proven to be an exceptional leader.

In his new role, David succeeds Steve Gennett, who served as chair of the group from 2011 to 2023. Under Steve’s leadership, the practice group saw significant success and growth. Steve will continue serving in leadership as a member of the firm’s executive committee.

As chair of the Corporate & Nonprofit Practice Group, David will be responsible for guiding the operations and growth of the practice group comprised of twelve attorneys. His selection demonstrates JAH’s commitment to developing leaders from within and providing advancement opportunities for its attorneys. Under David’s leadership, the already thriving practice group will continue to grow, recruit top legal talent, and provide excellent counsel to its clients.
