Johnston Allison Hord is pleased to announce that attorney Nicki Applefield Engel has been selected as the newest member of the Special Needs Alliance (SNA), an exclusive invitation-only national alliance of special needs planning attorneys. Founded in 2002, the SNA is a prestigious collective of America’s top attorneys in the areas of special needs planning and disability and public benefits law. SNA attorneys help to enhance quality of life for people with disabilities by counseling them on the utilization of public benefits and private resources and the preparation and administration of special needs trusts. SNA membership is competitive and there are only 150 SNA attorneys nationwide. Nicki is one of only six members in North Carolina, as well as the sole SNA attorney in South Carolina.
