Last week, Johnston Allison Hord attorneys and staff assembled 300 lunches for Roof Above® and its Day Service Center in Charlotte, NC through its bagged lunch volunteer program.
About Roof Above and the Bagged Lunch Program
In 2019, the Urban Ministry Center and Men’s Shelter of Charlotte merged together to form Roof Above. The organization’s unwavering mission is to eradicate homelessness, and it pursues this goal through street outreach, basic need services, local shelters, and housing programs. One of Roof Above’s standout initiatives is the bagged meals program, which distributes over 100,000 meals annually throughout Charlotte. Johnston Allison Hord is honored to volunteer with this incredible organization, which touches the lives of over 1,200 individuals daily in Charlotte. We are committed to supporting Roof Above in their mission to end homelessness and the positive change they bring to our community.
