Johnston Allison Hord participated in the Walk ALS Charlotte event on November 1, 2025, to raise awareness and help in the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative condition. This year’s walk held special meaning for our firm, as we walked in memory of name partner Morry Johnston who recently passed away from the disease.
Walk ALS Charlotte is an annual event organized by ALS United North Carolina, dedicated to bringing together the community to raise funds and awareness for ALS care services, advocacy, and research. Through events like Walk ALS Charlotte, ALS United provides invaluable support to individuals and families affected by ALS and funds critical research targeted at finding effective treatment and ultimately a cure.
