Johnston Allison Hord partner David Stevens and attorney Alex Nibert presented “The Post-Chevron Era: Ramifications and Key Developments” at the Meritas 2024 Litigation and Labor & Employment Groups Joint Meeting held in Nashville, TN from November 18-19. The meeting offered attorneys the opportunity to connect with fellow Meritas members and attend education sessions covering key developments that impact the legal industry.
During their presentation, David and Alex covered the legal implications of the Supreme Court decisions in June 2024 that overturned Chevron Deference. Other topics covered during the conference include artificial intelligence, discrimination claims related to marijuana use, and other legal developments.
