Johnston Allison Hord partner David Stevens was a featured speaker at the Town of Mooresville’s 2024 People Practices Summit, held on September 17, 2024, at the Charles Mack Citizen Center. This annual event provides professionals with valuable educational sessions led by industry thought leaders in the field of employment relationships, workforce development, and leadership.
David presented the Employment Law Update at the summit covering new developments in Employment Law, including a segment on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. Other sessions at the program included adapting to change, skill development for non-supervisors, employee recognition, inclusive and effective conversations, and purpose driven leadership.
