Our Vision
Our founders began the firm with a clear and simple vision: to build a practice that offered
the range and depth of services of a major law firm, but emphasized the personal touch.
They were right. We continue to place the highest value on getting to know our clients,
understanding and appreciating their individual needs, and providing practical, responsive,
no-nonsense advice and counsel. Many of our clients tell us they think of us almost as an extension
of their staffs, and we're honored by this level of trust. We find this intensive lawyer-client
relationship adds meaning and satisfaction to our work. It also makes our firm more effective and
easier for our clients to work with us. When our attorneys are equipped with not only a solid
knowledge of their practice area, but also a thorough understanding of their client's business,
we can make better judgments and offer more valuable legal advice.
Our building on Morehead Street, slightly south of uptown Charlotte, perhaps says something about
us. Set just apart from the crowd, it's conducive to thoughtful work and easy to reach. It helps us
