Representative Work

- Advises and represents individuals charged with and/or under investigation for various white collar
crimes including antitrust violations.
- Advises and counsels corporate employers when employees commit criminal acts such as embezzlement and
corporate malfeasance against the company.
- Obtained petition for discretionary review to North Carolina Supreme Court for defendant-physician and
defendant-medical practice in a medical malpractice action.
- Successfully defended hospitals, medical practices, physicians and nurses against medical negligence
claims at trial.
- Obtained extensive jury trial experience prosecuting attempted murder, armed robbery and narcotics
trafficking cases during six years at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office.
